CLC Programs
CLC offers total quality
care for every child. This includes early childhood education
and care, as well as the health, nutrition and family services
necessary to enhance a child‘s cognitive, physical and
emotional development.
Early childhood education & care
CLC provides early childhood education and care programs
for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. CLC provides care
up to 10 hours each day, 51 weeks per year.
General curriculum
- Programs in literacy, math, science, social studies,
the arts and technology
- Active, hands-on learning
- A wide variety of educational approaches and experiences
- Activities that build self-esteem
- Inclusion of children with special needs
Educational and childcare programs
The Child Development Program
Full-day infant, toddler and preschool care for children whose
parents are working, in job training or in school, and whose
income is at or below 75% of the state median income. A private
program is also available.
The Child Development Private Program
Head Start
For 3- and 4-year-olds whose family’s income is at or
below the federal poverty level. Addresses children‘s
needs in all areas of development – physical, social,
emotional and cognitive.
The School Readiness Program
Full-day or part-day early care and education programs for
3- and 4-year-olds.
